February 22 2012 - MAURO BERGAMASCO SUSPENDED 4 WEEKS
At a disciplinary hearing today Mauro Bergamasco admitted that he had committed an act of foul play, in that he had struck the Ospreys No 9. The disciplinary committee imposed a suspension of four weeks.

Following the match between the Ospreys and Aironi on Friday 17 February, Mauro Bergamasco, Aironi back row forward, has been cited by the independent RaboDirect Pro12 Citing Commissioner for the match, Richard Gwynn, for foul play under IRB Law 10.4

February 17 2012 - OSPREYS-AIRONI 23-7
Aironi plays a generous match but it's not enough. At Liberty Stadium in Swansea, Ospreys catch another win thanks to a penalty try and the boot of Dan Biggar to retain the second position in the table. Aironi don't convert a couple of good balls in the first period. Sinoti scored in the final minutes and the Italian side hope to take at least a defensive bonus point, but a try by Bishop closed the game.
